报告摘要：Online shopping holidays, such as the Single’s Day (China) and Cyber Monday (US), can generate a significant demand surge that was a nightmare for the shippers to deliver on-time and thus often resulted in a huge blame to the shippers from both the sellers and the customers. In this work, we compare two shipping contracts, flat rate and risk penalty, to coordinate the seller’s inventory and the shipper’s capacity strategies to handle the significant demand risk with a win-win outcome.
人物简介：赵耀，教授，美国新泽西州罗格斯大学商学院供应链分析实验室主任，在西本大学获得工业工程和管理科学博士学位，为麻省理工学院运营研究中心访问学者和杜克福库商学院访问教授，国际顶级期刊Operations Research 和M&SOM 副主编。赵耀教授近年来在供应链管理、分析和医疗保健等领域开展了大量具有国际领先水平的研究，在Operations Research、Manufacturing & Service Operations Management(M&SOM)、Production and Operations Management等顶尖国际期刊发表论文十余篇。2008年美国国家科学基金会制造业事业成就奖，2014年INFORMS案例写作一等奖，2016年卓越教学奖，并提名为2019-2022年的罗格斯大学最佳研究教授。近年来，赵耀教授被麻省理工学院、斯坦福大学、IBM Watson研究所和密歇根大学等众多国际著名学府邀请学术演讲，并应邀为通用汽车，雅诗兰黛，Verizon,强生制药，纽约地铁，残疾奥运会，房利美，美国国防后勤局等大量中美企业和组织做需求预测和管理咨询。
