Yee Van Fan博士，现任牛津大学环境变化研究所能源组高级研究员，同时兼任鲁本学院环境变化研究员。她专注于能源、废弃物及资源系统的可持续性评估研究，尤其关注数字化在实现净零排放与循环经济中的关键作用，其研究成果发表于Science（封面文章）, Journal of Environmental Management, Energy等多本高水平期刊。Yee Van Fan长期担任多本国际期刊编委，现为Journal of Cleaner Production, Energy, Energy Sources Part A, Clean Technologies and Environmental Policy等期刊副主编。
报告摘要：：
Digitalisation is emerging as a key enabler of global decarbonisation, shaping technological innovation, energy system efficiency, and socio-economic transformation. While it enhances efficiency and drives innovation, its role in decarbonisation is both enabling and challenging. On the positive side, digitalisation accelerates the energy transition by optimising energy systems, integrating renewables, improving industrial and building performance, and stimulating green investment through procurement and contracts. At the same time, it increases resource demand, both energy and materials, raising concerns about emissions, resource management (depletion, e-waste), and rebound effects. This presentation explores the direct and indirect impacts of digitalisation on decarbonisation pathways, while also reflecting on its broader societal and environmental implications.
