报告摘要：This paper investigates how infrastructure bottlenecks affect the firm’s export mode, and shows that when the firm faces exporting capacity constraint due to infrastructure bottleneck, the most efficient firms become the so-called dual-channel exporters, which export only a fraction of their products directly with the remaining products exported through intermediaries. Using linked annual survey of industrial production and transaction level custom export data sets in China, this paper documents that a significant share of firms are the dual-channel exporters. Further, the dual-channel exporters are more productive compared with direct exporters, intermediate exporters and Carry-Along Trade firms.
人物简介：王永进，中国国籍，政治面貌群众。目前就职于南开大学经济学院国际经济贸易系，教授、博士生导师。入选南开大学百名青年学科带头人，康奈尔大学访问学者，天津市人才，天津市131人才第二层次。主要研究方向为：国际贸易、产业与竞争政策、区域经济。在 Journal of International Economics, China Economic Review,《中国社会科学》、《经济研究》、《管理世界》、《经济学季刊》、《世界经济》等国内外顶级期刊发表论文50余篇，并担任《中国社会科学》、《经济研究》、《经济学季刊》、《世界经济》，《管理世界》、《金融研究》、 China Economic Review, Review of Development Economics, International Economic Journal, Economic Modelling等国内外期刊的匿名审稿人，国家自然科学基金同行评议专家，获得福建省、江苏省优秀成果奖、中国信息经济学会理论贡献奖。主持国家自然科学基金青年项目、面上项目，参与国家社科和教育部课题多项。出版专著《契约、关系与国际贸易》
