报告摘要:In this session I will share my experience on the process of developing a series of research projects in a specific research area and the lessons learnt from publishing in international Journals. The session is primarily targeting researchers with some experience in publishing, but it can be of interest to less experienced researchers (including postgraduate researchers) who want to better understand the research project design and development process, as well as academic publishing field in management.
During the presentation I will use real data from my own published articles and projects in pipeline to support arguments and explain what publishing journey is like.
个人简介:Dr Xuemei Bian is professor in Marketing at University of Northumbria. She is the Head of Subject of Marketing and Tourism and the Convener of Behavior, Branding and Digital Insights Research Group. Her main research interests are in consumer behavior, branding and advertising, with a focus on how judgments, evaluations and choice vary as a function of different decision-making strategies. Her research has appeared in many journals of international repute, such as Journal of Business Research, European Journal of Marketing, British Journal of Social Psychology, Journal of Consumer Behaviour, Advances in Consumer Research, Journal of Product and Brand Management, The Marketing Review, and Journal of Brand Management among others. She is a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of the Academy of Marketing Science, European Journal of Marketing, and Journal of Marketing Communications. She is also a member of the ESRC’s GCRF Peer Review College. Her research has attracted media attention in recent years and has featured in national and international popular outlets and trade magazines such as Huffington Post, Marie Claire, BBC Radio Kent, Refinery29, Fućsia (Colombia), The World Trademark Review, Luxury Daily (USA), and numerous online news websites. She is a regularly contributor to national and international popular outlets, including the Swedish Television, The Sunday Times and BBC Radio Kent, commenting on consumer related topics.
