报告摘要:
This two-part seminar will provide an overview of selected topics in organisational economics - an application of economic theory and statistical analysis to understand why organisations exist, how they function, and why their performance results differ. In the first part, theoretical foundations of organisational economics will be reviewed, focusing on the transaction costs economics. The second part will concentrate on empirical research with firms to validate organisational economics theories and inform performance-enhancing management practices.
