On March 17, School of Economics and Management hosted a collaborative symposium with SAP to deepen their university-industry partnership. During the session, representatives from both sides reviewed joint initiatives implemented since 2020 and discussed strategies to enhance cooperation in talent cultivation, applied research, and strategic consulting. Key participants included SAP executives Stefan Steinle (Executive Vice President and Global Head of Customer Support & Cloud Lifecycle Management), Daniel Gerdes (Vice President and Head of Mission Control Center (APAC)), and Zhai Yanguang (Director of SAP Learning System China and Head of SAP Labs China Dalian), alongside School leadership Ye Xin (SEM Dean), Ding Yongjian (SEM Associate Dean), and Xu Zhaoguang (SEM Assistant Dean). The dialogue was moderated by Wang Hui, Senior Manager at SAP Labs China Dalian and DUT ‘97 alumnus.

The successful convening of this symposium marks a pivotal advancement in the SAP-SEM collaboration. Both parties reaffirmed their commitment to expanding multi-dimensional cooperation, with a strategic focus on cultivating global-minded preeminent innovators and driving industry innovation.
