Kun Dong is a Lecturer in the School of Economics and Management at Dalian University of Technology (DUT), where he obtained his PhD in 2008. His research focuses on the construction of modern service industry systems, the development of economic intermediary organizations, and energy-environmental issues in industrial development.
He has authored four academic monographs and published over 20 peer-reviewed papers in scholarly journals. His research findings on industrial development and regional economic governance have been adopted by the General Office of the Communist Party of China Central Committee. Additionally, he has received prestigious accolades including one Second Prize and two Third Prizes for Scientific and Technological Progress from Liaoning Province.

Dongdong He is an Assistant Professor in intelligent traffic management and technology application at Dalian University of Technology (DUT). He received the Ph.D. degree from DUT in 2022. His research focuses on travel behavior modelling, electric vehicle and power grid interaction, and the facility location problem. His achievements have been published in top journals such as Transportation Science, Transportation Research Part E, Computers & Operations Research, Systems Engineering Theory & Practice, and the Journal of Systems Engineering etc. He was also granted as the highly valued position of Guest Editor of the journal Transportation Research Part E on the Special Issue related to Urban Air Mobility in March 2025.

She obtained her Bachelor's and Ph.D. degrees in Software Engineering from the School of Software, Dalian University of Technology. Her primary research areas include data mining and analysis, academic big data, and innovation networks. In recent years, she has published over 30 English papers, including more than 10 papers as the first author in top data mining journals and conferences such as IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering, Big Data Research, and SIGIR. Her papers have been cited over 1,000 times in total. She has applied for five national invention patents, with one granted and one software copyright obtained. She is currently presiding over one National Natural Science Foundation of China Youth Project, one Ministry of Education Humanities and Social Sciences Youth Project, and four provincial and municipal projects, and has participated in several National Natural Science Fund General Projects and educational technology research funds.

Xue Fanghong: Graduated from the Department of Applied Physics, Shenyang University of Technology in 2001.
