On November 26, 2025, the Annual Meeting of the International Advisory Board (IAB) , School of Economics and Management, Dalian University of Technology was successfully held online. The meeting brought together over 40 participants, including IAB members, the School's leadership, faculty, and staff. IAB members in attendance were: Joseph A. Iyer, Dean, School of Management, University at Buffalo, Clas Neumann, Senior Vice President, Head of SAP Labs Network, Saonee Sarker, Richard E. The meeting was chaired by Xu Zhaoguang, SEM Assistant Dean.

Under the theme "MBA at a Crossroads: The Path to Reinvention and Revival," this year's meeting aimed to collectively explore new pathways for the high-quality development of the School's MBA program. The meeting commenced with an opening address by Dean Ye Xin.

During the meeting, Associate Dean Ding Yongjian delivered a keynote report, actively seeking advice and suggestions from the IAB members on the School’s MBA program.

Following this, IAB member representatives shared their practices in MBA education.


The members then engaged in a lively discussion focusing on innovative paths for MBA education.

The annual meeting drew to a close amid vibrant discussions. The meeting featured a compact agenda and substantial content, providing a platform for global business education peers to exchange ideas and offering guiding recommendations for the MBA education reform at DUT SEM. The School will seize this opportunity to accelerate the construction of a "New MBA" cultivation system tailored for the AI era, rooted in the university's strengths in engineering, and serving national strategic needs, striving to present the "DUT Achievement" for the high-quality development of business education.
