Received an official notification from AMBA (The Association of MBAs) in the UK, the School of Economics and Management (SEM), Dalian University of Technology (DUT) successfully passed the AMBA accreditation. This is another achievement after obtained AACSB and EQUIS accreditations. Currently, less than 1% of business schools in the world have passed all three major accreditations, in which DUT SEM has become the 106th school in the world. SEM is the seventh institution in China to simultaneously obtain the three major international business school accreditations and CAMEA (Chinese Advanced Management Education Accreditation).

From March 24 to 26, 2021, the peer review team conducted an online evaluation, focusing on the school’s development strategy, program, student training, faculty development, scientific research, MBA/EMBA program teaching innovation and reform, etc. On March 26, peer review team gave feedback on the accreditation. While positively affirming the development of the school and the MBA program, they also made suggestions for the future development based on global MBA development.

AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA are the three most recognized authoritative accreditations for business schools in the world. They promote the high-quality innovative development of business schools. SEM’s continuous progress in discipline development, professional construction, talent training, faculty construction, scientific research, and enterprise cooperation were recognized and affirmed.
